"Does this really work?" It's the question we hear most in EyeThera consultations. The honest answer: if it matches the layer where your concern starts, you'll see results; if it doesn't, it won't meet your expectations. So first we need to separate the eye-area concerns.
Even the single phrase "my eyes aren't what they used to be" mixes different concerns.
These four start in different layers. That's why one treatment can't solve them all. ReYeonK's EyeThera is an eye-area program that separates these layers and treats each with the method that suits it.
Eye-specific transducers (1.5 mm and 3.0 mm) work on the deep layers of the brow, eyelid and under-eye line. Because it reaches the layer closest to the root of sagging, its strength is lifting. At ReYeonK we usually plan around 200 shots and adjust for skin thickness and degree of sagging.
Eye-area skin is thin and sensitive, so once elasticity drops the texture breaks down quickly. Virtue Eye uses microneedles and radiofrequency to stimulate the dermis, improving elasticity and texture. It works on a different layer from Eye Ultherapy, so the two complement rather than overlap.
The fine lines that appear when you smile or frown come from muscle movement. Eye-tox softens that movement to refine fine lines and the impression of the eyes.
It changes the eye shape as well. When Botox acts on the upper outer part of the muscle that circles the eye (the orbicularis oculi), the pull dragging the outer corner down eases, giving a lift to the outer corner of the eye.
Lifting power (Eye Ultherapy) + better skin quality (Virtue Eye) + smoothing fine lines (Eye-tox). Three layers can be treated in a single visit. We also vary the combination: for patients who we judge need firmness more than lifting, we may recommend Eye Thermage instead of Eye Ultherapy.
Changes usually appear gradually over one to three months, because collagen takes time to rebuild. How often to maintain depends on your skin and lifestyle, so we decide together as we follow your progress.
Indications, results and duration vary from person to person. Please decide on any treatment only after an in-person consultation with a doctor.
