Privacy Policy
2026.10.01
ReYeonK Clinic ("the Clinic") takes your personal information seriously and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and related laws. This policy explains what the Clinic's website collects and how it is handled. In case of any difference in interpretation, the Korean version prevails.
1. What we collect and how
- ① Booking enquiry · News sign-up — name, contact (phone number or messenger ID such as KakaoTalk or WeChat), desired treatment, preferred date and time, any note you leave, and the site language at the time.
- ② Advertising landing page enquiry — contact, and name if you enter one.
- ③ Before & after gallery access request — contact, and name if you enter one. Leaving just these two, with no sign-in, unlocks the gallery. The contact you leave may also be used to send event and new-treatment news.
- ④ AI consultation chat — the questions and answers exchanged. If you leave contact details in the conversation, they are kept so that we can reply. Resident registration numbers and card numbers are removed automatically before storage.
- ⑤ Recorded automatically alongside ①–④ above — how you arrived (search term, ad link, referring site), the first page you landed on, and device type inferred from screen width (mobile/desktop).
- ⑥ If you sign in — the account identifier provided by Kakao, Naver or Google, and your e-mail address if you consented to share it.
- ⑦ Global Booking (overseas reservation request form) — name (in English), country, phone number, messenger ID (WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat, etc.), email, preferred date and time, the memo you leave, and the country (market) page from which you applied. This information is used solely to contact you to confirm your reservation.
- We collect only what you enter or consent to. No membership registration is required to use the site.
2. What we do not collect
- We never collect resident registration numbers through any channel.
- IP addresses and browser fingerprints are not recorded in visit or click logs. Those logs contain only where you came from, which pages were viewed and which buttons were pressed.
- Medical records are neither collected nor accessed through the website.
3. Purpose of use
- Responding to booking enquiries and contacting you for consultation
- Explaining treatments and confirming questions asked in advance
- Sending event and new-treatment information to those who opted in
- Confirming before & after gallery access requests, and sending event and new-treatment news
- Improving the AI consultation — to see which questions went unanswered. It is not used to identify individuals.
- Improving the website — understanding which routes bring visitors and which pages they read.
4. Retention period
- Booking enquiries and consultation requests — kept for three years after the enquiry is handled, then destroyed. Past enquiries let us avoid repeating the same explanation on a return visit.
- Before & after gallery access requests — kept for three years on the same basis, then destroyed.
- News sign-up — kept until you opt out or request deletion, and destroyed immediately on request.
- AI consultation chat — retained without a fixed period, to improve consultation quality and to avoid repeating the same explanations on a return visit. Destroyed without delay upon your request.
- Visit and click logs — non-identifying statistics. Individual records are deleted automatically after a period, leaving only daily totals.
- Where the law requires retention, we keep the data for that period.
5. Outsourced processing
- The Clinic entrusts processing to the following parties in order to operate the service.
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and data storage (overseas)
- Kakao — sending a notification to staff when a booking enquiry arrives
- OpenAI — generating AI consultation answers (overseas).
- Processors may not use personal information for any purpose other than the entrusted work, and the Clinic supervises their handling of it.
- Part of the website administration may be carried out by an external marketing contractor, to whom the same supervision applies.
6. Provision to third parties
- The Clinic does not provide personal information to third parties, except where an investigative authority requests it through lawful procedure under the applicable law.
7. Your rights
- You may request access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time.
- You may opt out of the news sign-up at any time; on request the information is destroyed immediately.
- Please use the contact details below and we will act without delay.
8. Destruction procedure
- Personal information whose retention period has passed, or whose purpose has been fulfilled, is destroyed without delay. Electronic files are deleted irrecoverably; printed materials are shredded or incinerated.
9. Security measures
- Access to personal information is limited to the minimum number of people required for the work.
- The administration screens are accessible only to signed-in administrators and are blocked from search engines.
- All communication is encrypted over HTTPS.
10. Cookies and browser storage
- The website uses browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) to count a visit only once. It holds only when you visited and how you arrived — no name or contact details.
- You may block storage in your browser settings; the site works either way.
- Google Analytics is used for visit statistics. You may use Google's opt-out tool if you prefer not to be included.
