ReYeonK's Body Shaping program is tailored after the doctor's own 1:1 body analysis, built mainly around fat-dissolving injections and ONDA. Fat-dissolving injections break down fat-cell membranes so the fat is eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system; they suit small, focused areas such as the lower abdomen, under the chin and upper arms.

ONDA delivers 2.45GHz microwave energy deep into the fat layer to reduce fat cells while firming the skin, and is our recommendation for wide areas such as the flanks, abdomen and thighs and for sagging body lines. TruSculpt RF may be added when needed, and for cellulite we may combine x-wave extracorporeal shockwave with ultrasound and microwave. Lymphatic drainage care after treatment helps elimination.

Yes, and it is especially effective on exactly these areas. Areas like the lower abdomen, love handles, inner thighs, undersides of the upper arms, and accessory breast tissue have a high concentration of alpha-2 adrenergic receptors, which inhibit fat breakdown.

Because these receptors interfere with the catecholamines (fat-releasing hormones) produced during exercise, fat in these areas persists even as fat elsewhere in the body decreases. Fat-dissolving injections and ONDA destroy fat cells directly without relying on the hormonal pathway, so they can effectively reduce fat cells regardless of receptor distribution.

That said, results are best for clients who exercise and diet consistently but find one specific area stubbornly resistant — not as a substitute for overall weight management.

In adults, the number of fat cells remains largely fixed — what changes with weight gain or loss is the size of those cells, not the count. Fat-dissolving injections and ONDA directly reduce the number of fat cells, and since destroyed fat cells do not regenerate, fat does not re-accumulate in treated areas in principle.

However, if overall body weight increases significantly, the remaining fat cells in untreated areas can enlarge and alter the overall body shape. To prevent this, we recommend drinking at least 1.5L of water daily, limiting refined carbohydrates and high-fat foods, and doing light aerobic exercise at least 3 times per week after treatment.

Recovery time varies by procedure. With fat-dissolving injections, swelling and bruising are typically most pronounced on days 2–3 after treatment, then gradually subside, with most clients returning to a normal appearance within 5–7 days. Larger areas like the abdomen or thighs may retain mild firmness or discomfort for 1–2 weeks, but daily activities and light work are possible from the same day or the next.

ONDA produces a warm sensation during the procedure and mild redness immediately after, which typically resolves within a few hours, allowing same-day return. For all procedures, we recommend avoiding intense exercise, saunas, and alcohol for 48 hours after treatment.

After fat-dissolving injections, the free fatty acids released from destroyed cells are metabolized and eliminated through the lymphatic system and liver — a process that takes time. Most clients begin to notice contour changes within 1–2 weeks, with the most noticeable line improvement visible at 4–6 weeks when lymphatic clearance is complete.

ONDA provides a subtle initial effect immediately after treatment, but the true transformation occurs gradually over 2–3 months as destroyed fat cells are absorbed by macrophages and collagen regenerates.

The number of sessions depends on the target area and the amount of fat present. As a general guideline, fat-dissolving injections are performed 3–5 times per area at 3–6 week intervals — smaller areas with less fat like the under-chin or upper arms often need 2–3 sessions, while thicker areas like the abdomen or thighs may require 4–5 or more. ONDA is typically recommended 1–3 sessions per area.

After the intensive phase, maintenance sessions every 6–12 months help sustain long-term results.

Body shaping treatments are designed for targeted fat reduction and body line improvement — not for overall weight loss. They work best for clients who are generally within a normal range but have a specific area that refuses to respond to diet and exercise. Treatment is available without restriction for clients with a BMI under 30, and spot correction is also possible for those above that threshold.

However, if BMI is very high, results from treatment alone may fall short of expectations, so it is important to set realistic goals in consultation with the doctor. Clients with underlying conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or cardiovascular disease, or those taking medications that affect blood clotting, must disclose this information before treatment.

After fat-dissolving injections, avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area vigorously immediately after treatment. Starting from a day or two later, gentle massage is actually encouraged, as it can have a positive effect on promoting fat elimination. For 48 hours after all procedures, avoid intense exercise, saunas, steam baths, and alcohol, as these can worsen the inflammatory response.

Conversely, drinking plenty of water (1.5–2L per day) and light walking actively help promote the elimination of destroyed fat cells. After ONDA and InMode, apply sunscreen generously on the day of treatment and avoid strong sun exposure. If swelling or bruising lasts longer than expected, or if pain worsens, please come in for a check-up right away.

Body shaping treatments are not possible during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The active ingredients in fat-dissolving injections (phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholic acid) have not been sufficiently studied for placental transfer or passage into breast milk, and the impact on the fetus of fat cells breaking down and traveling through the lymphatic and vascular system has not been confirmed.

After childbirth, we recommend waiting until breastfeeding has been fully stopped for at least 3 months before coming in for a consultation. During the waiting period, maintaining a balanced diet and light aerobic exercise will support recovery and improve results once treatment begins.
