Skin Botox: hand injection or a device?
Doctor's answer
The doctor asks each patient whether they want skin Botox by hand injection or by device. The device tends to hurt less and spread the product evenly, while hand injection hurts, may bleed a little and can leave temporary small bumps (embossing). In practice, patients split about half and half. Spreading a product like Rejuran on the skin and pushing it in is seen as wasteful because not all of it goes in, so it should still go in by needle, choosing between hand injection and the device.
